About Wastebusters Sydney
We are a youth-driven, non-profit organisation with an environmental-based purpose and aim. Established out of the 2024 Youth Leading the World Program (2024 YLTW), team members Leron, Jiayi and Olivia were inspired to ensure helping the environment with even the smallest acts on a daily basis were normal. We aim to spread awareness, support the environment, and engage in everyday environmental acts which will allow individuals to feel motivated to care for the environment with the smallest acts of environmental compassion. It's not just about "one clean-up" and then it's all over, it's about building a community of like-minded individuals who share or are growing to share their passion for environmental conservation, protection, and care. We bring sugary incentives into our environmental events, which are predominantly clean-ups, in order to encourage individuals to help out. Soon, they'll realise the incredible efforts they are contributing with only one bucket of rubbish, and be even more motivated to help.

We engage in environmental initiatives in many areas of Sydney, however we centralise efforts on the beaches of the Northern Beaches.
